Summary
There are several Holds reports that are available to Users. A report listing the next patron in line for a hold and the title of that hold can be produced via Circulation on the main Management screen.
This guide will provide the steps required to produce a list of all current holds by title. A separate guide provides the steps required to complete a search and produce a Picking report.
Produce a next Patron Request List Report
Running this report removes the necessity to complete a search to identify all applicable patrons. Complete a search if you want to narrow the patrons if, for example, you only want students in a specified Homeroom or Year or patrons from a specific department included on the report.
1. Navigate to the Circulation > Holds > List (or Search) screen. If the Search screen displays click on the Browse All icon to display all current holds.
2. The List screen will include all current holds. Click on the Reports icon.
3. The Report Setup screen will display. Click on the Next Patron Hold List in the Select report list-box.
4. Click on the down arrow at the end of the Format field and click on the format required. The report can be printed in EXCEL, WORD or PDF.
Note: This report does not include a report preview image
5. Click the Go button.
6. The Report screen will refresh and, when ready, the Download Next Patron Request List report link will display.
7. The File Download popup screen or the Do you want to open…panel will display.
8. Click on the Open button to display the report to the screen from where you can then print it. Click the Save button to save the report to a location on your computer. If you do not want to run the report, click on the Cancel button.
9. To return to the List screen click the Return to list icon.
This report can be scheduled. See the How to Schedule a Report guide to complete that process.
