Summary
Resource records, stored after a Weed process, are indexed and can be searched for and restored if required. Weeded resource records can be permanently deleted via a Purge function.
This guide will provide the steps required to search for a weeded resource record and restore it. Separate guides are available that provide the steps required to restore a copy record, weed resource and copy records and purge records.
Search for a Weeded Resource Record
1. Navigate to Cataloging > Weeded.
2. Complete a search in the usual manner. Any of the search criteria options can be used to narrow the list of weeded resources returned, including a date (weeded) range.
Restore a Weeded Resource Record
3. Click on the applicable resource returned from the search to display its details.

4. Click on the Restore button.
If non-MARC Edit Mode was not active when the record was weeded, the Weeded > Edit screen will display. If MARC Edit Mode was active, the MARC screen will display.
5. Complete any fields whose details were removed during the Weed process for example, Tags, or thumbnail (cover) images, if required.
6. When all details have been added click the Save button.
The Resource Details screen of the newly restored resource record will display.
